Longing for a New Digital SLR Camera

My husband says I can purchase a new dSLR – I was counting on him to talk me out of it, since I just spent $2000 on my new MacBook Pro. What is wrong with him? Well, he has alterer motives, in that he will be wanting to upgrade his snowmobile in the fall. So, he figures if he lets me buy whatever I want, he can do it to when the time comes. Trouble is, we will be broke – broker than broke!

So, what am I going to do? I will probably think about it. We are going on vacation next week, so I will have some quality time with the ole Canon G6. When I return home, I will either be over my photography phase, or more determined to purchase a new camera.

Anyway, I am leaning toward a new Canon Rebel XTi (400d) – there are some great deals to be had online, at places like B&H Camera and I don’t need many lenses at first.

I still haven’t ruled out a Nikon, and will be researching both.

OOh yay!
