Read about it this morning, Apple will not longer participate in Macworld after this year. I was surprised when I read it, but I understand the reasoning behind it.
It is annoying to have to wait until January for “wonderful” announcements; no Macs for Christmas when you know there could be something just around the corner. I think it would be to Apple’s gain to not have to stick to the time schedule of Macworld and other organized exhibitions, and just wing it on their own, like they do already.
It’s too bad for Macworld. First Adobe, now Apple.
And I am bummed that Steve Jobs will not be doing the keynote. sad….but I do like Phil, so it might be interesting. But I have a feeling that Macworld Apple announcements won’t be very exciting this year. oh well.
