I WOULD CALL ANY ONE TO STOP USING THEM SINCE IT IS THE WORST SCAM EXISTED.

Can’t help but think that most of you aren’t reading everything in the fine print or understand how it works. I’ve used bml to make thousands of dollars worth of purchases over the last few years and had no trouble. Not everything you can buy through paypal is eligible for bml. Know which sellers use it, which don’t, and read everything the offers entail. I get cash back on bml purchases now, it’s a nice service when what you are looking to buy is eligible.

The easiest way to buy correctly from bml and avoid these headaches that I’ve never experienced, is to search billmelater.com FIRST for the items you are looking to purchase, and they will tell you who has it and you can even find who had it the cheapest.

Do the research first, get it right at the time of purchase, and you won’t have any issues. Plain and simple. Best of luck resolving any issues you have though.

Paypal will blame bill me later and Bill me later will blame pay pal. Round and round you will go on this psycho merry-go-round until you angrily hang up and they get the last laugh. It will take several months by then they have your money. Unless it is instant you will never receive it.

Paypal sent me to Bill me later, Bill me later referred me back to paypal.

All I got was bait and switch answers nothing direct! This passive agressive sounding ambiguously sounding gay guy from paypal just gave me the run around until I hung up. what a con job pay pal! NICE!

SCAM ALERT!!! PAY PAL you should be ashamed! Had I known they were going to tap my credit history I would never have signed up. DO NOTDO THIS AVOID BILL ME LATER!

I always pay my purchases from eBay right away but this one time I said “why not try this? I’ll also get a little extra eBay bucks”

So I decided to do the BML and was going to pay for the bill right away but I couldn’t find how to, I’m google searching and trying to find a way to but I can’t. Only way I can is by a bank account…???…

My problem is I don’t have a bank account, I know everyone might have one but me honestly, I think bank accounts suck, what if one day I really needed to draw the amount of money that I can’t because I needed a certain amount to stay in the checking account.

So now I’m stuck with paying this bill and I’m not sure what I’m going to do. One thing is, the item I bought I returned it and got a refund so I’m just banking on that BML got the refund and they won’t be asking me for anything.

I was hoping that last years fiasco would maybe get them to get their act together and organize their so called “deals” better, but it looks like they are never going to change. They’re always going to be a bad choice no matter what!

I’ve run into two issues with them not putting me on the 90 days deferred interest/no payments options, charging me interest and a fee in like a week (BS)… both times I called, got transferred around once or twice, had to be a complete b*tch for 5 minutes, and they fixed everything. The first time I had to call twice, but I learned from it. The second time it happened, I got someone who apologized to me while I berated him for working for a company that wasted my time, and he fixed it right then.

I make sure and get their name, which center/city they work out of, any ID number I can get, and an e-mail, and I make it clear that if what I ask for is not fixed, I will personally identify them to the next person I talk to as being the root of the failure, and that if I have to call again, I will have my father’s lawyer sue them. And, if I look a week later and things are actually fixed, I call in, offer up their info and tell a supervisor that they helped retain a dissatisfied customer by doing their job well.

Just talk a hard game, make it clear you are educated, know you have options, know that what they are doing is illegal, have documentation, and are more than willing to do something about it if they don’t fix it for you NOW. Also make it clear you don’t give an absolute sh*t about any excuses or any of that “Yes, ma’am, but, you see…” (the BUT means nothing good is coming, don’t bother to waste your time listening to it).

Just my two cents =) GOOD LUCK. I have to say, I have more issues with my only other credit card (through B of A) than I have ever had with Bill Me Later. Not bad overall.

Huge mistake and I am totally disgusted by the entire scam! sue me Paypal, you a$$holes

I ordered contact lenses through VisionDirect, which offers the BillmeLater option. When I got the statement for the lenses, my billmelater account said the payment was not due until mid-September.

I just logged into my account to pay the bill, and guess what? They are trying to claim they issued me an invoice in early August to make a minimum payment of $35, and of course, I NEVER GOT THE BILL, so I didnt’ pay it.

Now they are trying to slap a $25 late fee on top of my pre-existing charge!!! I AM LIVID.

I called customer service and they tried to claim I set up my account for electronic statements only (which I NEVER DID), and they are also claiming they emailed me the bill (THEY NEVER DID. I thoroughly checked my email, even the SPAM folder.)

The customer service nimrod said he would issue a credit for the late fee as a “one-time courtesy only” -oh, how generous of them.

Don’t doubt it for a minute-I will be contacting the California attorney general’s office about their scam business techniques.

Oh and btw, Meg Whitman, the former CEO of ebay and paypal, is running for governor in my state. Do you think I want a governor who headed up a scam company?? He&&&&& NO!

I like having BML as an option instead of using my credit card because most times you can take 3 or 6 months to pay stuff off with no interest. I will triple check if I ever see the BML/PayPal option though.
